ClubFloyd Transcript:
Underground by phlegethon
As played on ifMUD on February 7, 2021

The idea behind ClubFloyd is that each week at a pre-arranged time, a group of people meet online to cooperatively play a game of interactive fiction.

Below is a transcript of Underground written by phlegethon. You can learn more about the game, including how to download it, by visiting IFDB.

WARNING! Below you will find a transcript of people playing this game, and it goes without saying that the transcript is full of spoilers. So, if you've never played this game, and think you might like to at some point, I do not recommend reading any further. Instead, you might want to return to the interactive fiction page.

CF | dimly lit room
CF | You are in a dimly lit room. You have awaken from your nap. No longer
CF | in the comfort of your bed in your own home. You had a strange dream
CF | about some sort of cave. You don't remember much, you give up your
CF | attempts. You open your eyes, soon noticing you're in a dimly lit
CF | room. You think for a moment. This maybe the same cave, underground
CF | place you've been dreaming about. You stretch, and stand up. You are
CF | in a dimly lit room. You're carrying an old black rucksack. With
CF | nothing else to do, I guess it's about time you start exploring. You
CF | can go north.
CF |
CF | A discarded Lantern is nearby.
CF |
CF | > MoyTW says, "Oh there's pictures."
Knight_Otu says, "I think I said it last week as well, but this could have used some editing passes."
DavidW says, "I uploaded a Glulx version. There's a z8 and zblorb versions as well."
Jacqueline says, "I guess it's about time we start exploring."
MoyTW asks, "Okay question to those more familiar with Inform, is there something that would cause the 'You are in a dimly lit room" phrase to be printed repeatedly in Inform?"
