  
 
The idea behind ClubFloyd is that each week at a pre-arranged time, a group of people meet online to cooperatively play a game of interactive fiction. Below is a transcript of Pathway to Destruction, written by Richard Otter. Pathway to Destruction was originally released as part of the 2005 Finish the Game Comp, where it took first place. Basically, you arrive at your Floyd | destination the exact same moment you leave your starting point. Someone Floyd | off camera says, "I can't get the beam to lock, we can't get him back." Floyd | Floyd | Out loud you say, "Some how it threw me into the future, so no wonder Floyd | they could not lock on. That is why I'm still in the chair, the system Floyd | does not know that I arrived."
