Photo Essay: Eagles, Ravens, and Mist

First posted in November, 2004

This "photo essay" is rather lacking in words, but I felt that the photographs were better left together, with their captions, because they sort of tell the story all by themselves.

I came to see and photograph eagles,
but the landscape called to me as well.

___

Fortunately, I was able to combine my subjects.

___

Not all my shots were so distant.

___

I was pleased with the composition
of this photograph.

___

There were, as promised, countless eagles.

___

All attracted to the area by a common purpose.

___

Eagles were not my only live subject.
Here, a distant raven soars.

___

And here, a more inquisitive raven comes close to investigate.

___

A final photograph; how many eagles do you see?
(Click for a larger image if you'd like a better look.)
