CF | Al is and you're not actually sure what's up with the psychic
CF | readings.

CF | be a body, wrapped in rough cloth. It is so small, but you know
CF | somehow that it is not a child. It is an old...man. He feels male. And
CF | powerful.

CF | They lay him down gently, and arrange an amulet around his neck.
CF | A pale green and a reddish brown stone. Then they deliberately cover
CF | his body in rocks, laughing and crying and talking to each other in a
CF | language you don't understand or even recognize.

CF | A larger cave, only dimly lit by the light that trickles in from the
CF | tunnel that slopes up to the west. There is a large opening just too
CF | high to reach to the north. The only other feature of note is a pile
CF | of rubble.

CF | This chamber is lit by some sort of cold blue bioluminescence. You can
CF | exit to the south.

CF | There is a stone cairn in the center of the room.

CF | The world around you fades away, and you have a vision...

CF | You see Joe enter this cave, carrying a flashlight. He sets it
CF | aside when he notices a stone cairn, and digs through it. He pulls out
CF | an amulet and puts it in his pocket. Then he crudely rebuilds the
CF | pile, picks up his flashlight, and leaves.

CF | You blink and return to the present.
CF |

CF | This is the cairn from your visions. Something feels missing, and

CF | You return the amulet to its rightful place. Without words, the spirit

CF | As you make your way upstairs, you find the final box amidst the junk
CF | in the basement. You set it out on the loading dock just as the sun
CF | rises in the clearing sky.

DavidW says, "I didn't expect it to end right there."
DavidW says, "And we kept our last quarter too."
Knight_Otu Joe asks "Hey kid, what happened to my 4 grand amulet?"
DavidW says, "I haven't a cairn in the world."
Jacqueline says, "Hm."
Jacqueline says, "This game was not what I was expecting, and it feels like maybe it is not the game that was originally planned by the author. Maybe."
Knight_Otu says, ""An' while we're at it, I'm missin an expensive watch and a crystal turtle...""
Jacqueline says, "Lord only knows where those came from."
DavidW asks, "maybe the idea was to put those back as well?"
DavidW says, "but yeah, Joe is gonna ask questions."
Knight_Otu says, "I'm not sure I was expecting anything specific. It does feel that some questions are unanswered."
Jacqueline says, "I guess the title had me thinking this was going to be something kinda like a Bitter Karella game, and it also felt like some of the initial stuff the author wrote had more character and depth, but then they ran thin on time."
Jacqueline says, "(Sorry, author... just how it feels...)"
DavidW says, "There should have been a beach where you put the crystal turtle in the water, and it invites you to ride on it to a fabulous crystal palace under the waves, but all you find is... .glub ... glub .... glub ..."
Jacqueline says, "heh"
DavidW asks, "The game does have an odd quality to it, doesn't it?"
Jacqueline says, "It's definitely an interesting juxtaposition of things."
Knight_Otu says, "Not quite horror, not quite magical reality."
Knight_Otu says, "I am glad we played it, aside from that elevator."
Jacqueline says, "The storm, the earthquakes, the sliding-block-puzzle-of-an-elevator, the visions, the cave in the vault, replacing the amulet... some stuff that's really mundane, some stuff that's full of possibility that's only brushed upon..."
Knight_Otu asks, "As though it was building to something big, and then we stumble upon a molehill?"
DavidW says, "I guess we didn't need the salt for anything, any more than we needed the paint can."
