ClubFloyd Transcript:
Sparkle by Juhana Leinonen
As played on ifMUD on June 8, 2014

The idea behind ClubFloyd is that each week at a pre-arranged time, a group of people meet online to cooperatively play a game of interactive fiction.

Below is a transcript of Sparkle written by Juhana Leinonen. It was released as part of ShuffleComp 2014, and was a Commended game. You can learn more about the game, including how to download it, by visiting IFDB.

WARNING! Below you will find a transcript of people playing this game, and it goes without saying that the transcript is full of spoilers. So, if you've never played this game, and think you might like to at some point, I do not recommend reading any further. Instead, you might want to return to the interactive fiction page.

#ClubFloyd Discussion

Jacqueline says, "Good morning, folks."
Jacqueline says, "So, there were four games that tied for votes."
Fang asks, "which four?"
Jacqueline says, "Personally, I think people just like games that begin with S: Sparkle, Shade, Slouching, and Savoir-Faire."
Jacqueline says, "Hm, I was thinking Shade, but I think instead we should probably target Sparkle."
Fang says, "I haven't actually played savoir-faire for some reason"
DavidW says, "I haven't heard of Sparkle."
Fang says, "so if I am the tie-breaker..."
DavidW says, "(and I'm not really here)"
Jacqueline says, "Sparkle is from ShuffleComp. Nitku is really wanting us to play it for a post-comp release."
Fang asks, "is Nitku around?"
Jacqueline says, "No, but that doesn't matter."
Nitku says, "I'm here"
Jacqueline says, "Oh! Yay."
Fang says, "okay, then Sparkle"
Taleslinger says, "Sparkle is a cool game."
Jacqueline says, "I was going to say, though, that the transcript is what matters. :)"
Jacqueline says, "Okay, one sec."
Taleslinger says, "it's funnier to neg the author when they're here."
Nitku says, "If you can wait a moment I can send you the latest version"
Jacqueline says, "Oh, okay. Sure."
Fang says (to Tale), "pretty much"
Jacqueline says, "Caught me just in time. Will not use the copy I downloaded."
Deesix says, "Sparkle lacks description on [LINK]"
Marvin says, "Well, it's fairly new."
Fang says, "neither seems greatly associated with bats"
Fang says, "ilac"

Floyd | Several weeks of travel have brought me to Mount Shanshan. The last
