Floating in the blue, the indigo, the indigo blue.

Finally, some sense of stability.

I wrote this piece of interactive fiction for the Indigo New Language Speed-IF, and had about a month to write it. That said, I put in alot of time in on this piece over those three weeks. This was a game I'd wanted to try to write for a long time, but I'd felt it overambitious. It was probably possible to write in my usual language, Inform, but I found it surprisingly easy to code as a newcomer to ADRIFT. While it was too much of a game to cram into little more than a fortnight, I'm nevertheless fairly pleased with it, and I'm not opposed to revisiting it, so if you encounter things that should be added, please do use the contact link at the bottom of the page to let me know.

You can download In Memory here. You'll need to download a program, ADRIFT Runner, to launch my game file. Either ADRIFT 4.0 or 5.0 will work, and both can be found here.

If you're new to interactive fiction, I would recommend a visit to A Beginner's Guide to Playing Interactive Fiction.
