ClubFloyd Transcript:
Grooverland by Mathbrush
As played on ifMUD on July 4, 2021

The idea behind ClubFloyd is that each week at a pre-arranged time, a group of people meet online to cooperatively play a game of interactive fiction.

Below is a transcript of Grooverland written by Mathbrush. Grooverland was released as part of the 2021 ParserComp, in which it took first place. You can learn more about the game, including how to download it, by visiting IFDB.

WARNING! Below you will find a transcript of people playing this game, and it goes without saying that the transcript is full of spoilers. So, if you've never played this game, and think you might like to at some point, I do not recommend reading any further. Instead, you might want to return to the interactive fiction page.

CF | Welcome Booth
CF | You walk towards the entrance of Grooverland and are impressed by its
CF | extravagance and size.
CF |
CF | Grooverland is surrounded by a plastic castle wall pierced by two tall
CF | gates to the east, one red and one white. Streams of people
CF | flow in and out of them and you can hear screams and laughter from
CF | inside.
CF |
CF | A gate guard in a paisley vest sitting in a Welcome Booth waves you
CF | over. "Welcome, Your Majesty! Let me know if you have any questions.
CF | Otherwise, go out there and have fun!" he says, handing you a flier.

CF |
CF | a ring,
CF | a Sugar Plum Crown,
CF | a royal scepter,
CF | a mantle,
CF | and a sun orb.

CF | off the Prowling Promenade. Exciting rides are found off of the
CF | Mechanical Marvels. Halloween-themed spooky attractions are
CF | available year-round in the Spooky Sideshow! And our performers
