ClubFloyd Transcript:
Comrade by Roger Carbol
As played on ifMUD on May 10, 2015

The idea behind ClubFloyd is that each week at a pre-arranged time, a group of people meet online to cooperatively play a game of interactive fiction.

Below is a transcript of Comrade written by Roger Carbol. It was an entry in ShuffleComp: Disc 2, and was inspired by "Rossiya" by Laibach, "Cha Cha on the Moon" by Pat Reader, "Rocket Man" by Iron Horse, and "Russian Roulette" by Rihanna. You can learn more about the game, including how to download it, by visiting IFDB.

WARNING! Below you will find a transcript of people playing this game, and it goes without saying that the transcript is full of spoilers. So, if you've never played this game, and think you might like to at some point, I do not recommend reading any further. Instead, you might want to return to the interactive fiction page.

#ClubFloyd Discussion

DavidW says, "Looking at the survey results, All Alone and Slouching Towards Bedlam are still our leading to-play games. However, I have also uploaded all the Floydable Shufflecomp 2015 games."
DavidW asks, "So, should we play All Alone, Slouching, or a Shufflecomp game?"
jenrexrode says, "dunno"
Ghogg says, "I vote shuffle"
Emily arrives, full of neither funk nor fun. DavidW says, "I'm leading towards Shuffle myself."
DavidW says, "I haven't played any of them."
DavidW asks, "Draconis? chaudmin? Emily? What say you?"
chaudmin says, "yes let's do shufflecomp"
Emily says, "I'd say Shuffle, yeah"
DavidW says, "Carried. [grins]"
Roger says, "yay"
AWatt arrives, full of funk, but no fun. DavidW says, "The games I've loaded are 1) By the Lake, 2) Comrade, 3) Everything We Do Is Games, 4) Heading East, 5) Molly and the Butter Thieves, 6) Starry Seeksorrow, and 7) When the Land Goes Under the Water."
DavidW asks, "Do we have preferences? Should I roll a die or just play 'em in alpha order or what?"
Emily says, "I've played 5, 6, and 7"
Ghogg asks, "1, 2, 3, then 4?"
Emily says, "but I can be quiet"
Emily says, "or that"
Emily says, "let's do 1"
DavidW asks, "Fine with me. S'okay with y'all?"
DavidW says, "(I like apostrophes today. Sue me.)"
chaudmin says, "fine by me"
DavidW says, "okay."
AWatt says, "sounds great"
***** NOTE: By The Lake did not work on Floyd ***** DavidW says, "I'll skip to 2"
